Better materials.
Better infrastructure.
Engineered in layers, with a purpose behind every one.
FRP means Fiber Reinforced Polymer. Fiberglass reinforcement, a high-strength resin matrix and a mineral-filled core work together to deliver rigidity and strength. The surface layers address weather exposure and grip; the reinforcing layers resist compression, tension and bending.
- UV-stable top coating
- Protects against sunlight, weathering and colour fade.
- Anti-skid surface texture
- A textured finish for pedestrian and vehicle grip.
- Resin matrix binder
- High-strength polymer resin binds the layers together.
- Woven fiberglass reinforcement
- Structural reinforcement to resist compression and cracking.
- Filler-reinforced composite base
- A mineral-filled core provides rigidity and impact strength.
- Fiberglass mat — tension layer
- Bottom reinforcement resists tensile and bending forces.
