About us · Made in Nagpur

25 years on the ground.
A better way forward.

When you’ve spent years manufacturing and installing covers, you learn where they fail. They get stolen. They corrode. They become too heavy to handle.

Surazo brings that field experience into a composite solution designed around the challenges of real infrastructure. A brand of Ulhas Buildtech Pvt. Ltd., manufactured in Nagpur and built for the work ahead.

The product brief grew from recurring problems seen in the field: theft, rust, cracking and difficult handling. Surazo brings manufacturing and installation experience together in a composite alternative for everyday infrastructure.

Better materials.
Better infrastructure.

Engineered in layers, with a purpose behind every one.

FRP means Fiber Reinforced Polymer. Fiberglass reinforcement, a high-strength resin matrix and a mineral-filled core work together to deliver rigidity and strength. The surface layers address weather exposure and grip; the reinforcing layers resist compression, tension and bending.

UV-stable top coating
Protects against sunlight, weathering and colour fade.
Anti-skid surface texture
A textured finish for pedestrian and vehicle grip.
Resin matrix binder
High-strength polymer resin binds the layers together.
Woven fiberglass reinforcement
Structural reinforcement to resist compression and cracking.
Filler-reinforced composite base
A mineral-filled core provides rigidity and impact strength.
Fiberglass mat — tension layer
Bottom reinforcement resists tensile and bending forces.

Handling & installation

The brochure contrasts lightweight composite construction with the heavier weight of ductile iron and S.F.R.C. Consider access and handling requirements alongside the cover specification.

Exposure & upkeep

Corrosion resistance and lower maintenance are key reasons for choosing composite covers for outdoor and utility environments.

Long-term ownership

Low scrap value reduces the incentive for theft. Compare replacement, maintenance and installation needs as well as the initial purchase price.

Full support makes the difference.

Seat the frame fully on the concrete bed. Avoid unsupported overhangs and frames sitting above the finished surface. The brochure illustrates correct frame seating and cover, frame and mortar alignment.

Product selection depends on the application, cover dimensions and installation. Request the applicable technical data and test documentation from our team.

01 / APPLICATION

Start with the location

Identify pedestrian access, a footpath, a kerb channel or a carriageway. Describe any vehicle access and the actual installation conditions.

02 / DIMENSIONS

Match the opening

Share the chamber’s clear opening and the required cover shape. The frame opening should correspond to the chamber opening.

03 / CONFIRMATION

Confirm the specification

Ask for the applicable dimensions, load-class documentation and installation requirements. Total vehicle weight alone is not enough to select a cover.

A correct fit.
From the ground up.

Four installation principles from the brochure.
Confirm the detailed specification for your chosen cover.

  1. Prepare the bed

Prepare the concrete bed to suit the height of the frame.

  2. Match the openings

The frame’s clear opening should match the chamber’s clear opening.

  3. Support the frame

Embed the frame in M-20 grade concrete. Confirm bedding dimensions with our team before installation.

  4. Align the surface

Set the top of the frame level with the finished road or pavement surface.

Explore product formats, composite materials, load classes and installation guidance. Contact our team for details specific to your project.

What is an FRP composite cover?

FRP stands for Fiber Reinforced Polymer. Surazo’s brochure describes a layered construction using fiberglass, a polymer resin binder and a mineral-filled core, with a textured, UV-stable surface.

Which product formats are available?

The range includes circular and square manhole covers, slotted gully manhole covers and frames, and modular trench manhole cover sections for continuous drainage. Confirm the size, frame and load class with our team.

What information do I need for a quote?

Share the product type, clear opening or required size, load class and quantity. Include your project location and application so our team can help with the specification.

Can I request a custom size?

Yes. Custom sizes and load classes are available on request. Contact our team to discuss your requirements and confirm availability.

What should I check before installation?

Match the frame opening to the chamber, fully support the frame on the specified concrete bed, and align the top with the finished surface. Ask our team for the installation requirements for your selected cover.

Does the load class describe total vehicle weight?

The brochure illustrates that a vehicle’s weight is distributed across its wheels and axles. Gross vehicle weight alone is not enough to select a cover. Ask our team to confirm the load class and installation requirements for the actual traffic conditions; the brochure’s truck example is illustrative, not a vehicle-specific approval.

Where can I get technical documents?
